Over 1000 models fixed, many website fixes, first supporters and contributors

2026-09-27

New on the website

  • GIF button: export the model and animation as a GIF.
  • The Tray is now the Arena.
  • Menu on mobile: "More" is now "Menu".
  • Mobile: the 3D view's control boxes sit under the view instead of over the model.
  • New help tips: variations, weapons, animations, the GIF button, the Arena (when you add a model) and Baroque's sprite directions.
  • Help tips on Browse: search, filters, grid or list, sorting, sorting by a column in the list and the theme.
  • Retro dark is the new default theme.
  • Retro and Round themes: gradients are now dithered, with a posterized palette, being truly "retro".
  • Donate button is now green.
  • X button shows both accounts: [Pardall Games own account[https://x.com/PardallGames] and Alfred's account.
  • Easier reading: bigger text on About, FAQ, News and the other text pages; the Retro theme uses a readable font.
  • News also shows at the top of a filtered list (not on phones).
  • Captcha browser check before the first download opens in the middle of the screen.
  • Link previews describe each asset (a 3D model, a pre-rendered field...).
  • Donate: added Pix option (for Brazilians).
  • Add up to 12 models into the Arena, up from the previous limit of 3 models.

Website fixes

  • Mobile and phones: sprites no longer flicker non-stop; the summon player's Play button and the loading screens show at the center; no mouse and keyboard help line on touch screens; the filters button only where there are filters.
  • Links in About and News open the right page (they opened Browse).
  • Help tips no longer get in the way when you open a texture or switch tabs.
  • Final Fantasy 7 Summons: effects that mix see-through and solid texels draw like in the game; the Supernova's nebula and star flashes are back.

Model fixes

  • Double-sided faces: 258 Final Fantasy VII assets (1,277 meshes) now correctly have back faces, such as Slaps, the field Save Point, Yuffie's Rising Sun and Safer Sephiroth.
  • Final Fantasy VII Summons: Bahamut, Ifrit, Kujata, Knights of the Round, Odin, Phoenix and the Supernova got double-sided effect parts back.
  • Ada Wong (Resident Evil 2): no more holes in her dress, in all four versions. Her Bowgun and Spark Shot got their missing faces too.
  • Sephiroth (final battle) and Cloud (hi-res): eyes textures imported.
  • White and grey patches textured: Sahagin, Griffin, Hippogriff, Mu, Formula, Zenene and Giga Flare's clouds.
  • Highwind and Tiny Bronco (Final Fantasy VII world map): names were swapped. The Highwind and the Highwind without propellers are now named correctly, and the yellow plane is the Tiny Bronco (World).

Thank you

The first supporters: BusterSwordBoy, Dennis Moody, KloWorks and Marcus Rekestad.

And the first contributors:

  • Oliver, whose report on Resident Evil 2's Ada Wong led to finding the double-sided error in more than a thousand models.
  • DDD, for reporting a mislabeled Highwind in Final Fantasy VII.

Do you want to appear here? You can contribute by reporting errors (click Report Error in an asset page) and helping out with labeling animations (the majority of model animations do not have human readable animation names, you can contribute by giving the list of animations and what they really mean, for example: "Cloud - Anim 001 - Buster Limit Break", etc. You can send by email or contact form, alongside the asset IDs, click Copy ID in an asset page).
