About Pardall Games
Pardall Games is an archive of assets from PS1 and N64 games. It's here for archival, preservation, reference and study: to see how the models, levels and effects of that era were built, assembled, composed. It includes 3D models and textures, skeletal and vertex animations, levels, maps and scenarios, effects (VFX), sprites, spritesheets and UI images, sounds, music and FMVs.
Compare 3D models, navigate in game maps, browse textures and play 3D model animations.
There are also special pages for special types of game assets, for example:
- Final Fantasy VII Summon animations. Play Final Fantasy VII summons in a special player that uses all the assets, timing, cameras, sounds and placement from the game. But there's an extra feature: you can pause anytime and move it around in 3D.
-
Fields: pre-rendered backgrounds with cameras with the same placement and parameters from the game, as well the collision and navmeshes (walk meshes) and you can walk around these scenarios with the game characters.
- In the case of Resident Evil 2, all fixed camera angles are included and you walk around them, with camera transitions on the fly, with real data extracted from the game.
- In the case of Baroque it includes all angles from their billboards and you can turn them around on the fly.
Why it exists
- Archival and preservation
- Study and game development research
- Curiosity
Or maybe I don't a reason at all? I just love PS1 and N64 games.
What's in it
Everything extracted from the original games, split by system and game.
- Characters, animals and monsters, with variations (like all variations of Final Fantasy 7's Cloud).
- Props, vehicles, weapons and items.
- Stages and places: pre-rendered backgrounds, towns, rooms, dungeons, maps.
- Sprites, effects, UI images.
- Sounds, music.
- FMVSs (videos).
- Camera placement data.
Every model has its triangle count, its textures (with their sizes, colors and filtering), its source and, when it has them, its animations and variations (weapons, versions, swappable pieces).
Who owns the models
The models, textures and animations ripped from games belong to their games' developers and publishers. Pardall Games claims no ownership of them. The names of the games and companies are their owners' trademarks. The site isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.
